Having called Maple Ridge my home since 2001 I’ve discovered all the fun to be had on- and off-road with my motorcycles and hiking boots, respectively. Other hobbies include couch co-op with my teen daughter, typeface trivia at the most random locations, restoring the summer car, and obsessing over our family dog, Ruby.

Not so design-y.
If there’s one positive outcome of a global pandemic, it’s having found the time to rediscover long-forgotten interests. Before December 2020 I hadn’t picked up a pencil in more than 15 years, but a friend’s upcoming birthday was the perfect opportunity to refresh my illustration skills. Her emotional reaction to the pencil drawing set me on a new recreational path of creating realistic illustrations of dogs, with other friends and family members forming a line to have their beloved canine immortalised in graphite.
